Mr. Patrick Anumel
Board Member
Mr. Anumel is a banking connoisseur with vast expertise in development, retail and corporate banking, spanning over 30 years. He served as the CEO of GN Bank (Ghana) and First National Savings and Loans Limited from 2014 to 2016 and 2012 to 2014 respectively. He led the adoption of organizational structure, increasing balance sheet size, new product portfolio and digital services, among others.
Prior to joining First National Savings and Loans Ltd, Mr. Anumel was the CEO of International Bank (Liberia) Limited, a position he took on after serving as the General Manger of the same bank.
His banking career started in 1977 as a Credit Officer with Agricultural Development Bank (Ghana), he also rose through the ranks to the position of General Manager for Consumer and Retail Banking at CAL Bank, Ghana, from 2004 to 2007.
Mr. Anumel has had the privilege of serving as Board Member for CAL Brokers Ltd (2004-2007), Gold Coast Fund Management (2013 to date), FreshPak (2015 to date) and Winneba Youth Choir (2015 to date).
He was the President of Liberia Bankers Association (LBA) from 2011-2012, Vice-President of Liberia Bankers Association (LBA) from 2010-2011, President of Ghanaian Professionals Association in Liberia from 2011-2012 and a Member of Ghana Association of Consultants (GAC).
He holds an M.Phil. in Agric Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture from the same University and a Certificate in International Banking by HSBC Bank, London.
